There are several recognized pole dancing organizations, associations and federations that are working to and dedicated to bringing pole professionals within their country together and holding national competitions as well as contribute to bringing standards to the sport.

These organizations host annual and international events and competitions and strive to bring standardization to the industry in terms of getting instructors certified and others like the US Pole Dance Federation bring judging standardization to the competition ring.
